Bila i heard about the hotel we are staying, and the review was so awesome, mestilah kita sooooooooooooo looking forward for it kan?
So from the airport to the hotel about plus minus 45min. But 6 of us were split into 2 hotels, so untuk my batch dok kat Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. The check in process went smoothly, so each of the hotel assistants bawak ke bilik kami.
Masa naik hotel tuh, tengok jam, genap 12tengah malam ko!
Sampai-sampai masuk je bukak pintu bilik hotel, ya besarnyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bilik hotel nih! it’s a suite hotel room! Since i m engaged under parenting blogger, depa bagi aku family room terus. Untuk 5 orang, in fact 7 orang pun can stay in. Oh manghai.
Bilik sebesar nih je aku sorang duduk. So kalian, andai ke Bangkok tau dahlah ye nak dok hotel mana yang meant for family. Tu belum lagi tengok esoknya the tour to the hotel, single room pun besarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Untuk Chatrium Club Suite Two-Bedroom yang aku duduk nih, memang ada sorang satu bathroomlah. Yang dengan bathtub dengan shower, toilet lain, isk isk…mewah mewah. Betul-betul jatuh cinta ngan hotel ni pandang pertama sungguh. Korang kalau datang anak sorang or dua dok sini lah, anak ramai lagi ler wajib dok sini. Yang single pun should try gak dok sini heh.
Aku pakai shower but for the 2nd nite aku mandi sini. Bantal pala tu memang betul nak suh aku tidur dalam bathtub.
Syok cool, belakang aku toiletlah. On the 2nd nite aku ngah wiwi house phone hotel bunyik, depa nak hantar breakfast to the room before we check out. Oh tak yah bang, kami dok turun bawah jer. bukannya nak check out jam 6 pagi, takper takper…thanks for the concern too.
So ingatlah kalau nak request breakfast dalam bilik instead of turun bawah, memang alwajib ya bangat.
The 2nd room, kalau family or pergi ngan kawan-kawan hah dok tidur sini. Bathroom pun ada dalam bilik ni jugak, tv dalam suite ni 3 bijik, lam bilik sorang satu ler kan dah tentu ada. Abang kakak rugilah hangpa tak leh nak ikut mamiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Hall besarrrrrrrrrrr, pastuh balkoni dia ya hampun boleh lagi buat lagi sebilik heh! I tell you the whole unit of this Suite is bigger than the 2 units of my condo! Master bedroom hotel ni equivalent to 3 sizes of my master bedroom. Berlari lam bilik dah letih, apatah lagi satu unit hah.

Kitchen and dining area. nak masak? pun bolehhhhhhhhh, semua ada!
Kenapa dipanggil Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok …hah sebelah sangat ngan Chao Phraya River. Bawah tu jugak ada padang hijau tu kan, itu International School, besarrrrrrrrrrrrr sangat. Pagi-pagi aku tengok all the big cars masuk untuk hantar the kids to the school, ngan swimming pool dia je 2 sets. Padang tu je 2 tau. Memang enak view aku dok sini.
So our day bermula dengan breakfastlah, the in house breakfast, tahukah anda the hotel nih ada home made roti!! roti2 dia sedapppppppppppppppnya. Aku sampai dibungkuskan roti tu dek manager Chatrium bila dia tengok aku asyik makan roti tuh. Aku ngan RD berkongsi minat ngan makan soft bread.
Selesai breakfast kami start tour to each of the hotels rooms, dari single, double and semua types lah. Bilik yang atas nih untuk Grand Suite One-Bedroom. besau kan kan? dan semua rooms as i said provided ngan kitchen. One thing fyi, katalah laki hangpa ada business meeting, so korang malas nak keluar, so feel like to cook but tak tau nak buat the best tomyam like the one in Bangkok, so ko call je Chef depa, buatlah prebook dulu, and he will come up with the segala jenis bahan untuk buat tomyam, dan dia akan ajar ko dalam your own hotel room. Sesama masak hah!
Laki balik bukan je dapat bini wangi, dapat pulak bini dah siap hidang dinner!

So my tour arituh memang banyak ler pengalaman yang aku korek. Betullah kan jauh perjalanan luas lagi pengalaman dan pengetahuan kita. Cam hari tu aku tak tau pasal Lufthansa inflight food punya process, hah memang seronoklah dapat tau they have the most safest food in the world, skang for Bangkok aku tau dah hotel yang patut aku redah.
FYI this was my 2nd trip to Bangkok, first time aku datang was few years ago berduaan ngan laki aku. But laki aku hard core traveller for Bangkok, bila ajak mai sini dia agak malaslah, makanan dia Bangkok nih. ehceh, eksen ko suami.

Pool! hah bersiap ler anak2 kuak lentang dalam nih. makpak budak nak berendam, Bangkok kan panas cam kita, memang ganteng dong!
So belakang aku berdiri nih, restaurant untuk buffet breakfast, lunch dinner or just walk in jer, aku ni ngah tunggu special transport. a boat! boat to the town. Nak ikut darat pun boleh but tau ler Bangkok kat jem teruk, so ikut boat le baru best. Pastu baru naik BTS. Boats ada setiap setengah jam kot, eh ai forgot.
Nearest BTS yang boat bawak ialah to and from Sathon Pier/Saphan Taksin BTS Station.
Tak yah tix ke hapa coz memang jetty kecil ni untuk Chatrium punya boat transit and transfer. Guests hotel je yang pakai sini….
Dan kami pun menikmati Bangkok dari sudut tengah sungai….

BTS, turun naik tukar 2 kali coz nak to our destination, the Asia Web Direct. The arranger of our trip to Bangkok. Sebenarnya kami tersesat satu arah masa naik BTS nih, kihkih….. dia punya signboard sume dah nyata tapi coz aku ikut jer Shah tuh, dia pun menonong haaaaaa tersesat.
But bila kita sampai kat Asia Web Direct office, dari perjalanan dengan boat, BTS dan juga sesatnya, kami masih lagi sampai dahulu dari the other batch yang menaiki cab 🙂
Hebatlah kami, tu lah transport kat Bangkok moleknya dengan BTS.

Aku sambung terus to the check out of our final day, esok esok kita cite on the shopping etcslah. The very next day, pagi kita dah check out. Another job waiting for us, a trip to Skychef kan, you have read my review already. I will surely come back to this hotel. Dengan red batallion merah aku dah tentulah. nak chop bilik ni back 🙂
Hah roti yang sama ku kembali padamu!! Pagi tu tak amik roti lain, soft bread ni je yang aku kerjakan.
Sesambil breakfast ni pun kita tengok the river, dan been briefed a bit with the Manager. Dengar lagi korek sejarah susur galur Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok.
Aku dibekalkan the soft breads by the hotel, about 3 packs lam 15pcs but balik rumah aku dapat makan separuh jer. Lain my family dah bedalkan. Hish mana le nak carik soft breads sedap gini kat KL yek.
The Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok from my view, i was staying at the 32nd floor. Tinggi! tak gayatpun. Setiap bilik ada balcony, setiap bilik juga ada view tersendiri, either the town or the river itself. Tadi aku cakap kalau family je dalam bilik tu yg sesuai duduk, actually kalau grouping, or for business trips pun molek dok sini. They have most of everything here. After all, they are the 5 stars hotels in Bangkok.
You can never go wrong with anything in 5 stars. Maybe ada hiccups ke hapa kat sini, coz ada sekali waktu aku dalam bilik on the 2nd nite tuh, tetiba housekeeper masuk, salah bilik. Cuma one thing aku terlepas nak cuba their inhouse massage service, coz balik lambat on the 2nd nite. Kalau tidak mungkin lagi double up the points.

It was our trip to South East Asia during which we stayed in various five star hotels and resorts. However, Chatrium stands out as the best in terms of comfort, location and the staff. I had intial apprehensions as i had never heard of the chain but i was pleasantly surprised as it was a wonderful hotel. Having returned back home from our trip and looking back, we note that our stay at the Chatrium was the best. We would recommend it to all families visiting Bangkok – Chatrium’s site.
And from my own personal experience, Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok was really among the best Bangkok hotels. It’s like a dream holiday 🙂 I m happy guest, either dari segi their rooms, services, its restaurant sampailah their helpful staff. Untuk malam yang kita berjalna keluar tu pun, tak yah riuh kuor hotel, since kita malas nak pi BTS, suh depa rogerkan taxi je, bersidai le banyak. Dan bila taxi hantar passengers pun, depa kan catit setiap plat no, for security reason.
