Travel Happy with Visa :)
*I am blogging on behalf of Visa’s Travel Happy campaign and receive compensation for my time, but the thoughts, words, and promotions on this page are mine, not Visa’s.*
Just came back from Korea, but now pastuh akak kena planning for the next trip hiks. I love to travel, so whenever ada kesempatan dan ada budget for sure aku grab that chance.
So my next trip was Singapore yey! Dekat jer, tapi quite lama gak lah aku tak menyeberang selat teberau tu. Oh did I tell you besides travelling I also love shopping hiks. Window shopping pun tak per, yang penting ada nama shopping tu 🙂
But shopping issue ni, satu dunia merah dah tau lah. Dok KLCC pun memang kerjanya dok menyopping gak.
Kalau ke Korea tempohari kita bawak the whole Redfamily, tapi the Singapore trip ini only me & hubby jer pergi. Sekali-sekala berdua-duaan dengan hubby tinggalkan anak-anak apa salahnya. Disamping mengeratkan lagi ikatan rumahtangga, kita berhoneymoon sekali hiks.
Since it’s only the two of us, our itinerary will be quite simple. Free and easy mostly, dinner, coffee break, bersantai, rest and relax. And of course shopping is in the list too 🙂
Bercakap pasal shopping during travel ni, ada few readers tanya, bila travel oversea ni camna Kak Red manage all the transactions? Kak Red convert semua cash ke or camna? Camna Kak Red bayar bila shopping tu? Cash or card? Which is more convenient, using cash or card? Macam-macam soalan ada…
Ok camni, most of the time aku guna card when travel overseas. Cash aku tukar sket jer, cuma untuk certain things when the shops ataupun outlets tak accept card. Tapi ni biasa untuk street shopping la. So selagi they accept card, selagi tu aku swipe.
One of the significant reasons kenapa aku guna card, is about safety and assurance. Let’s say something happens, like losing your purse or handbag, kita cuma hilang card not the cash. Of course when this happens, it really spoils our mood, of course la kan dah handbag hilang maunya tak stress! Dah la kita away overseas. But not to worry, jangan jadikan those things show stopper hingga kita tak leh enjoy our holiday. Tu sebab I use Visa, wherever and whenever you go around the globe, their 24-hour Global Customer Assistance Services sentiasa ada untuk membantu kita sewaktu kesusahan tu.
Not only we can get card replacement as quickly as 1 business day, tetapi kita boleh juga request emergency cash from them and boleh collect the cash dari any Western Union/MoneyGram. Juga dalam masa secepat 1 business day. Cool huh!
Bugis Street also in my itinerary to visit later
Selain dari tu, Visa offers a lot of rewards, discounts and free gifts di serata tempat pelosok yang kita pergi seluruh dunia. Just choose the country and the city you plan to go to, there are plenty of offers yang kita boleh grab that help save us a lot!
Macam aku plan nak pergi Singapore ni, dari hotels, shopping, dining & drink, even jewelry & cruise pun ada discounts! Among those offers, I think I would try the following:
Royal Plaza on Scotts 10% off Best Available Rate with free breakfast, quite near dengan Orchard Road hotel ni. Senang nak berjalan shopping. Bila dah berduaan dengan hubby, kita plan for romantic dinner kot hiks. This sounds like a good deal – Enjoy 1-for-1 dining and drink deals when you spend with your Visa card on Tuesdays by the Singapore River. Sudah semestinya shopping deals in my list and this sound delicious hiks – Enjoy 5%-15% off at Lotte Duty Free Shops in Singapore. Dahlah Duty Free dapat lagi discounts, yey suka-suka!
These offers save me even more especially bab-bab shopping ni hiks! Bila kita dapat saving here and there, it just makes my day and makes me happy 🙂
That’s my secret when I travel abroad and with #VisaMy I #TravelHappy 🙂
