P1 Potong and Red Batik Dress

the main invite is RM not ashterix@Sirman. but Sirman reached BSC before me first. aku stranded dalam jam and hujan lebat in kl! as promised to show you the lovely batik dress….

i ve promised to blog bout it, coz ramai suka ngan batik kan.

one thing is bout the dress is a bit short, atas lutut ku. saya jarang berdress yang ke main pendek gini hahahaha, lgpun ni batik. the sponsor tot aku nak pakai dengan legging, rupanya aku nak pakai macam ni gini jer. i dont like to wear legging sangat lah. i have a few but selagi boleh elak, aku ngelak gak pakai legging.

legging doesnt suit me sangat, lgpun legging dah old fashion in current market. satu lagi Sirman cukup meluat aka menyampah tengok aku sarung legging, rasa dia nak koyak2 kan jer ada.

but anw, i really love the batik dress.

Nippon Paint Makeover to RM’s house!

My not so big house, the VA. I remember kami 4 beranak cat sendiri. The first time kami pindah, aku suh contractor cat kan. Tp rupanya dia tak pakai cat yang bagus,dia pakai cat kapur, not our standard’s cat.

So 3 years ago, Sirman and I cat sendiri. Berhari2 jugak lah nak menyiapkan cat dinding2 nih, sbab kami pakai 3 colours. Pastu setiap satu tu nak kena cat with 2,3 layers. Not easy. Kita tak upah orang yer, buat empat beranak. Aku lebih banyak santai, the kids lebih banyak helping the father.

So that was then. This year the 2009, we need to have a new colour for our dining and hall’s wall. Not only that, we appointed the professional to do the task. Nippon Paint is always the best painting sedari zaman dahulu lagi.

What colour yang saya pilih? Red?

No not red. In fact kaler asal lama dinding aku pun bukan pun merah, it s like more to dark purple and lilac colour. Perabot2 aku majorly kaler merah takkan nak apply merah jugakkan.

This year’s feng shui said, I should use the orange colour. It s gonna make my house a bit warm. Udahlah orang2 dalam rumah sangat2 garang terutamanya aku ni ha. So tengok buku macam orange and light orange will be a new colour that match with the red sofa. With everything that I have in red lah, dalam umah aku kan pesta merah.

Why oren kak red? Tak pengsan ke? Match ke ngan merah?

Ha tu lah….surf this web, nanti korang tau lah betapa u are supposed to match all every colours with your environment. Like my case, aku pun tak tau rupanya oren adalah warna yang menenangkan to match with my red collection.

But indeed, it is.

If u wonder napa ke aku bermask2 pulak dalam rumah sendiri, bukan sebab cat ni ada bau. No. satu hapa bau takde tau ngan Nippon Paint. Coz kan some paint memang berhari2 ko leh baru cat kan, aku pakai mask coz tak nak kena habuk mar.

Idung aku kan very the manja…

Dok tolak2 the cabinet and furniture, so mestilah ada habuk2 melekat kat celah2 bedah menyorok yang tak tercapai dek tangan, tu yang kena pakai mask.

Oh btw, since aku pakai the professional painter, we started all the painting at 9am, aku predict abih lam kol 5 petang gitu lah. Katanya satu umah except bilik and kitchen lah yer….

So there u can see the 2 diff colours, the dark orange is Marsh Marigold 7043D and light orange is Sun Touched 448. Dalam gambar nampak macam putih tapi tidak ye gang, itu adalah kaler light orange. Yang sungguh redup lembut warnanya.

Aku pakai kaler lembut. Wuiii..jarang2 sungguh.

Sangat licin betul Uncle Alan cat kan yer………tangan tak gigil langsung. Cat pun tak menitik. Ha satu lg yang molek adalah Nippon Paint ni senang dibasuh. Kalaulah ada drop to your lantai ke, kena tangan jer, very easy one to wash.

Takdelah nak menyental cam nak giler, ke main pakai minyak2 bagai. Ingat dok orang tua asal kena cat je dia suh kita bersihkan ngan minyak. Ha not to Nippon Paint.

The light orange colour, ngan nama scientific nya adalah Sun Touched 448 . Key Wai is doing the make over for the purple wall. I love the colour. But people need to change and move on. Takkanlah nak dok je kat takuk lama gitu kan.

N I m using my redmummy’s power to my own house. It s my house. No outsider can have the power to your own house. U see?

Ehehhehee, since I have the power, Nippon Paint is helping me then.

Selamba jer Uncle Alan bukak grill tingkap aku tuh….he knows his job. Ko engage je Nippon Paint, tau je lah diorang mencantikkan warna warnikan rumah korang nanti.

Abang gigil je tangan nak tolong sama, tapi kang lambatlah pulak keje mengecat kita nih, diorang tak kisah budak2 kacau coz depa tau keje diorang janji ko jangan pi cap2 kan tangan korang kat dinding.

Btw satu lagi tip nak bagi cat cepat kering adalah jangan dipasang kipas. Sebab kalau tidak kang abih penuh debu2 di jalanan ikut sama melekat kat dinding.

Alright, everything looks perfect now…semua dinding dah dicat cantik. Nak tunggu kering aku nak buat satu drama design pulak.

Wah cannot tahan lah, ai love the new paint haahhahaha, sapa tak suka benda baru yang oi. Lelebih lagi aku adalah wanita yang suka warna berani and garang. The orange colour for me is still garang lah, tp the light orange tu macam jauh je dengan konsep hidup aku.

But I m ok with it, we need to try something new in our life, live life to the fullest.

Ic ok….so cat sudah kan. Semua cat dah kering. Now aku nak buat design pulak kat one of my feature wall. Aku nak buat design simple yang menggunakan sponge sahaja….

Use the masking tape, buat corak buluh memacak ke atas….nampak clear tak kat gambar ni. Ada masking tape menyimpang arus sana sini bagai melintang patah, itu untuk buat special design for my feature wall.

Chop chop the wall, pakai sponge dipotong 3. the smaller the better cos kita nak chop chop je kat dalam masking tape tu jer.

If you have kids, please get your kids to do the design. They will like it. Dahlah nak mengecat depa tak boleh buat. So let the kids master pulak buat design yer.

Sebab mak merah adalah kurang ketinggian, the top part of the design, pass the job to Sirman. Satu red family bikin kereja deco design of the feature wall.

Kompilasi masa yang diambil untuk buat all the chop chop dalam 15minjer. Sangat simple. Cara chop pun jarak2 tau, jangan main tarik tenyeh plak kang tak nampak irama bunganya itu.

finally siap, after 5 min…kita bukak the masking tape. Oh btw itu lah design yang menggambarkan ala2 pucuk rebung buluh yer hehehehee….so konsepnya macam ko letak pasu tetiba ada aluran buluh di atas…

it s all the project under one roof, satu red family bergabung buat the design….simple and easy, korang leh buat sama gak. Any concept colour or design yang hangpa mau, pakai creativity masing2 lah. Cat zaman skang bukan saja pada cat sahaja tapi also pada design jugak.

Tidak sahaja di wall tp di furniture pun boleh gak Nippon Paint diapply.

satu rahsia nak bagitau korang, Nippon Paint tidak pernah berasal dari Jepun tapi asalnya adalah dari Singapura. Hahahaha u see, market babe market. Kita pandang ke timur, jadi konsep design buluh aku pun pandang ke timur jugak. We finished all painting and designing the feature wall at 12pm, just 3 hours.

Dengan professionalism Nippon Paint, pantas giler diaorang buat, perfecto betul corak cara mereka bekerja dengan semangat saya mahu warna rumah yang baru, wow!

RM’s Tupperware Tapau Diaries…

sakit tak hati korang kan kalau pergi minum kat kedai2 kopi mahal ker tapi cup nya tak lut panas. So bila nak tapau bawak pi opis, menahan lah panas tangan. Eh ada yer, aku dah bape kali face this situation. Kalau kat food court klcc plak, if nak tapau teh tarik dibaginya kertas paling cekai plak tuh. Rules in food court klcc for tapauing drinks cannot use plastic pun lagi keji, kertas cup pun lagi double keji!

So aku give up. Bawak je Tupperware botol sendiri pi food court, and asked them to put it in the tumbler. Panas pun tahan lama…senang carry pun yer. Stylo pun dah tentu. Redmummy is walking with her fav teh tarik….in the blue tumbler 🙂

one fine morning, saya singgah ke gerai nasi lemak di Bandar Sri Permaisuri Cheras, aku tapau the nasi lemak. Sebab aku main pilih2 lauk, the Tupperware has saved my life. Aku  mintak makcik nasi lemak asingkan setiap nasi lemak, sambal kerang, telur, ikan bilis and kacang dalam setiap compartment of the tupperware.

Easy bee. Macam banyak kerenah ke? em…banyak kerenah kalau korang tu malas nak mencuci Tupperware tu lah. Kalau rajin macam ai hehehehhee, tiada masalah yang tidak boleh diselesaikan.

dan kalau aku tak rasa nak makan yet, aku boleh jugak panaskan dalam microwave. Bukak je penutup kecil of the tupperware. Standard aku  pakai 1 minute jer, x yah lelama. Kalau agak2 lapar sangat, 30sec will do. The Tupperware memang boleh bertahan dengan microwave.

Since aku makan breakfast yang too heavy in the morning, tekak macam ngidam pulak nak makan western. Gang2 burger and fries. But aku tau kalau makan during lunch hour mesti santak pulak perut.

So aku bungkus the set of burgers, fries, chicken. Oso the soft drink. Too much? eh…bley makan wt frens mar…tu pasalnya.

nampak kemas and steady. Tapi kan satu yang tak best tapi best bila tapau ngan tupperware ni ialah kekenyangannya haiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Betul kenyang kau. Remember aku ada tweet pasal aku makan punya santak few weeks ago, sebab aku tapau letak lam tupperware le yang oi. Itu kesedapannya bila kita simpan dalam Tupperware

Di malam yang lain pula, noone at home. Masing2 ada activity luar wt their Dad. So aku malas nak masak and pi pasar malam carik lauk reringkas. Sebab aku nak menyelamatkan dunia kita dari masalah environmental impact, so aku bawak bag tapau Tupperware, and the Tupperware set too

Dah bungkus bawak balik, tapi tak rasa nak makan jam2 tu jugak, an hour later aku panaskan semula dalam microwave. I dont have to change the box, bleh jer simpan lam fridge and masukkan je terus lam microwave. I chose 1 minute timer. Dont have to open the whole cover cap of Tupperware boxes, coz it s very user frenly, bukak je point punat kepala tupperrware tu.  Senang nyoorrr lahai hidup ni.

Kalau idak kang nak kena carik kuali panaskan setiap satu lauk ni, so dengan microwave dan pertolongan beso dari boxes Tupperware ni, makan je cam gitu. Hidup harus pantas mar….

my simple dinner is served. The 2 tumblers are full with teh tarik and air suam.kenapa sampai ada 2 air pulak…oh kot ler tersedak dok, air suam tu leh lah jadi penyelamat tekak. Malum ler lapau bebenor kan, makan pun ke main laju.

Konsep hidup dengan tuppwerare ni senang sahaja tujuannya. Kita nak mengelakkan lagi pencemaran alam. Sebab bila ko makan dengan bungkusan2 kertas nasi lemak, or polystrene food boxes tu, bila ko dah makan ko buang. Tak ke menyemakkan lagi dunia alam kita. Sampah sarap makin menggunung tinggi.

Sebab itulah to get a simpler life, dengan memanjangkan lagi hidup generasi anak2 kita, we come out with this idea. I ve been using tupperware since like…15 years ago. So long mannn…..

some ppl would say the price of tupperware is so expensive, benda yang bagus memang lumayan harganya. But pikirlah balik, it has a lifetime warranty so meamnglah tak mahal coz value duit yang korang spend kan tuh, sangat2 berbaloi bertahan sepanjang hayat.

SK-II – Christmas Mini Event!!!

I m Redmummy, every time I attend any event related to RM, I will wear red outfit. But for today, u gonna see me in dark blue shirt, black suit is a must since I just finished my permanent job hehehehehhe. So how come I turned into blue and black, coz I m carrying the red bulky handbag lor. Kang aku pakai baju merah, abih korang tak nampak mana satu aku mana satu hbag. Huhuuuuuuuuu.

Hui tak pernah2 buat entry into gitu, la ni kena buat coz ye lah korang kang sumer notify, but since they are expecting the red mama, they served me red juice. Nice ha? It s a pleasure of RM to come down to SK-II Isetan KLCC, for a one touch review on the best Facial Treatment Essence.

Let me just be honest, I m not an SK-II user. Not that I dont want to try or use it before, but I guess when I started using the skincare product aku rasa tak affordable for me with SK-II. At that point of time lah.

Now rasanya dah bolehlah kot, lagipun aku tak specific ngan satu jenis product sahaja, aku leh pakai cleanser brand nih, toner brand tuh, moisturizer brand gini, same goes to make up set gak.

So ada problem tak ngan kulit muka aku bila pakai campur2? I ve done so many times skin check with the professionals, thank god I dont have much skin problems except the pigments on the cheek. Sebab tu lah aku selesa pakai macam2 brand, not a big deal for me. Tapi for u girls n boys out there, jangan ikut step saya, coz kulit memasing tak sama rencahnya.

first thing you need to do before u decide to buy any of skin product, do a skin test first. This machine looks like an ipod, pertama di Malaysia, satu-satunya machine or gadget yang paling canggih. It checks through your inner part. Skin kita ni ada 3 jenis jer, yang meletup cun masih boleh diselamatkan, second one pulak peringkat medium, n last of course memang dah inner dalam tu memang sangat2 perlu diberi perhatian.

I ve done lots of entries bout the way of doing proper make up, also the skin care too. Apa kena pakai dulu, apply on the face, now let me repeat again. Tak kira lah ko pakai make up or not, nak tidur or baru bangun tidur, always apply make up remover. This yang orang selalu abaikan.

you wont see over a mirror muka korang yang masih lagi ada tapisan make up lama or bedak foundation, but when we did a test on my hand, one side is removed straightaway using cleanser, and one side pulak using make up remover. So do remember, pakai make up remover.

Next followed by Cleansing Oil and Cleanser. Cleansing oil pun aku dah cakap, it s more for the mascara, senang nak tanggal, itu bonusnya, but the beauty part, is for your face and neck, lebih ketara hilangnya serbuk2 make up yang ada or debu2 yang bertempek selama kita tidur or being at outdoor. Then followed by Clear Lotion, it s like a toner. A must!

Lastly the Essence. This is the best!!!

While im checking my skin, 4 other female bloggers were invited to the SK-II Chrismas Mini Event too, and of course non of us are SK-II users as well. So the review will be basically how the new user like us apply the product specially for Essence.

Aku rasa dalam banyak2 product SK-II, tang Essence ni lah yang paling aku nak highlight kan sangat. The essence ni pakai after all the Clear lotion / toner. Usage amount of Essence dalam 50cent coin kita, hold the cotton pad and tap on the Essence. Soak it to the cotton pad, make sure cukup agak2 lah, and pat on your face and leher. Kalau ko dry skin, boleh nampak the fibers get stuck onto skin, if that happens apply more Essence on the cotton pad.
